State of the Arc Welding is a custom design and fabrication company founded in May 2016 by Zachary Gillard. The goal of State of the Arc is to provide high quality products and services to both industrial and residential markets.
Zachary has commercial welding experience through his previous employment with Power and Construction located in Scottsville, NY. The focus of the company is centered on 3 primary services, custom fitness equipment, general welding & fabrication and custom products. State of the Arc utilizes steel that is “Made in the USA” and is a low overhead operation which allows the company to be very competitive with the brand name manufactures, while utilizing top grade steel in our equipment designs.
Zachary is a local WNY resident and has received a certificate of completion from Monroe Community College in the Welding and Fabrication Industry Certification Program. The program was comprised of 360 hours of hands on training in the use of Cutting and Welding Processes, Blueprint Reading / AWS Weld Symbols, Fitting & Tacking, Plasma Arc, Oxyfuel Torch and Machine Setup, Adjustment and Trouble Shooting.
